Overview

Built for the missions that can't wait.

The Superwake Mongoose is a long-range search and rescue drone built to operate in the conditions that ground other aircraft. A 4-stroke, 2-cylinder hybrid-electric powerplant delivers 8 hours of endurance and an 800 km range. Vertical take-off and landing means no launch infrastructure — deploy from any clearing, rooftop, or incident command post and be airborne in minutes. Onboard detect-and-avoid enables true BVLOS operations without ground observers, and an integrated all-weather protection system keeps the Mongoose flying through icing conditions, freezing rain, and the worst weather SAR teams face.

Key Capabilities

Purpose-built for serious missions.

01

Vertical take-off & landing

No runway, no catapult, no recovery crew. A rooftop, a clearing, a frozen lake — if there's space, Mongoose can operate.

02

800 km range

A 4-stroke, 2-cylinder hybrid-electric powerplant delivers 8 hours of non-stop endurance — covering vast search areas in a single sortie.

03

Onboard all-weather protection

Integrated all-weather protection system allows continuous operations through freezing rain and severe weather — the exact weather SAR teams most often face.

04

Detect-and-avoid

Onboard DAA provides all-weather, day/night situational awareness for unlimited BVLOS operations — no ground observers required.

05

Starlink connectivity

Control the aircraft and payload from anywhere in the world, in any terrain — no radio line-of-sight restrictions.

06

Modular sensor suite

Configurable payload bay supports LiDAR mapping, EO/IR ISR, and all-weather SAR sensor — mission-matched for every deployment.

Payload Options

Mission-matched sensors.

LiDAR Mapping

GreenValley LiAirH600

Compact mapping-grade LiDAR at just 1.3 kg. Up to 750 m range, <5 cm elevation accuracy, 550 kHz scan rate, and 80° horizontal FOV — with an integrated 26 MP camera and high-precision IMU/GNSS.

EO/MWIR

Trillium HD 59

High-end cooled MWIR for day and night operations when performance matters. AI-enabled gimbaled EO/IR for day/night ISR, missing person detection, and maritime surveillance.

SAR Sensor

IMSAR NSP-3

Combat-proven all-weather multi-mode SAR/MTI sensor for Group 2-3 UAS. 0.3 m SAR sensing resolution, ground and maritime moving target indication — day, night, fog, and through cloud cover.

Applications

What it's built for.

Missing person search

Thermal imaging at scale — cover vast wilderness, coastline, or remote terrain in a fraction of the time of ground teams.

Disaster response

VTOL deployment from incident command. Rapidly survey flood zones, avalanche debris, or collapsed structures for survivors.

Maritime SAR

Extended over-water endurance with wide-area thermal imaging. Locate vessels and persons in open water faster than crewed aircraft.

Wildfire monitoring

Real-time IR and SAR perimeter mapping in icing conditions and low visibility — when crewed aircraft are grounded, Mongoose keeps flying.

Pipeline & infrastructure patrol

Long-range corridor surveillance with same-day VTOL deployment — no launch infrastructure required at remote sites.

Wildlife surveying

Aerial imaging and thermal detection for population counts, movement tracking, and habitat monitoring across remote wilderness.
